Company History
Mesa Verde Enterprises, Inc. was organized under its current name and incorporated in the State of New Mexico in October of 1993 by Randal, Jeffrey, and Timothy Rabon. The Rabons continue to be Mesa Verde’s owner/operators and play an integral role in the daily operation of the business. Starting out as an underground utility work company, Mesa Verde entered into the heavy horizontal construction field in the mid-1990’s in order to fill the need for a paving contractor in the local market. Since that time, Mesa Verde has grown substantially to include three asphalt plants, two concrete batch plants, and five crushers. Even though we are a small business entity, Mesa Verde is one of the largest, privately held construction firms in Otero County, New Mexico and the largest aggregate producer in the region. Employing between 100 to 150 people allows us to utilize our experienced personnel running quality equipment and materials to produce a superior product in a timely manner.
Mesa Verde Enterprises, Inc. has a strong commitment to excellence in performance, which has lead to past success and will continue to guide our operations in the future. We build quality into our services at the beginning, rather than relying on others to “inspect it in” after the fact. Mesa Verde has grown into a company with a reputation for fairness to our employees, subcontractors, and customers. We will continue to look toward the future with the advantage of years of experience and new innovative thinking to meet the needs of our customers.

Our New Mexico Contractor’s License Number is 2967, and our classifications include GB98, GA98, GF98, MM98.
